Angelina Jolie celebrated her 39th birthday Wednesday, just as her new movie "Maleficent" topped the weekend box office. And she has more to look forward to this year.
Up next is "Unbroken," a film she directed with a screenplay by Joel and Ethan Coen. It's based on Laura Hillenbrand's bestselling biography of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner who was taken prisoner by Japanese forces during World War II. It opens in December.
Angelina has also written an "experimental" movie in which she and fiancee Brad Pitt will co-star. "It's not a big movie, it's not an action movie," she told Extra. "It's the kind of movie we both love but we aren't often cast in. It's a very experimental, independent-type film where we get to just be actors together and be really raw and open and try things."
Dinklage's school daze
Peter Dinklage is the latest celeb to have his embarrassing high school yearbook photo go viral. On Tuesday, a former classmate posted the photo, taken when Peter was a senior at the Delbarton School in Morristown, N.J., online. Peter is shown looking into the camera with a somewhat emotionless expression and sporting a mullet. Below the photo is a quote from playwright Sam Shepard: "Words are tools of imagery in motion."
