“Sherlock” star and “The Imitation Game” Oscar-nominee Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife, actress and theater director Sophie Hunter, reportedly are parents for a second time.
People magazine said Monday that it had confirmed a report in the British newspaper The Mail on Sunday that Cumberbatch, 40, and Hunter, 36, welcomed son Hal Auden on March 3. The couple, who married on Valentine’s Day 2015, already are parents to son Christopher Carlton, who turns 2 in June.
Cumberbatch and Hunter were first seen publicly as a couple in June 2014 at the French Open. The actor is scheduled to reprise his Marvel Cinematic Universe role as sorcerer Dr. Strange in the upcoming “Thor: Ragnarok.”
