'Breaking Bad' alternate ending spoof leaked

An alternate-ending spoof finale of "Breaking Bad," reportedly filmed for the series' upcoming DVD box set, was leaked online over the weekend.

The scene is an homage to the famed finale of Bob Newhart's sitcom "Newhart," in which psychologist Bob Hartley from the star's earlier "The Bob Newhart Show" awakens wife Emily (Suzanne Pleshette) and tells of a strange dream that encapsulates the "Newhart" series.

Here, "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston awakens as Hal, his dad character from "Malcolm in the Middle" (Fox 2000-06), next to wife Lois (Jane Kaczmarek). "I just had the scariest dream!" he tells her. "I was this world-class chemist and I cooked and I sold this ultrapure methamphetamine."

"You cooking anything . . ." Lois scoffs.

Hal goes on, "There was this guy who never spoke, he just rang a bell the whole time," referring to actor Mark Margolis' paralyzed Hector Salamanca. Dean Norris' Hank Schrader, he says, "looked like the guy [Michael Chiklis] from 'The Shield.' " Aaron Paul's Jesse Pinkman was "a little guy, he was a waif, a man-child, kid who always looked like he was wearing his older brother's clothes."

Hal also tells Lois that his wife was "this tall, beautiful blonde," referring to Anna Gunn's Skyler White.

"Yeah, well, keep dreamin', pal," Lois replies., which posted the clip Sunday, said the scene was shot for the DVD set, which will be released Nov. 26.
