A representative for Dakota Johnson says reports of a baby-gender reveal party Sunday for the "Suspiria" star are inaccurate.

"The party was simply a birthday party," spokeswoman Robin Baum told Newsday, responding to a video posted Monday by showing Sean Penn chatting outside the home of Johnson's boyfriend, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, followed by a string of blue balloons wafting above the home while an arc of pink balloons remains intact. Johnson, the daughter of actors Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith, turned 29 on Thursday.

Johnson has not commented on Instagram, her sole social-media platform, and Martin, 41, has no social media.

The couple has been together for roughly a year. Us Weekly in November said the two had been spotted in Israel a month earlier at a Nick Cave concert, reportedly behaving like a couple, and had had dinner with Cave at a restaurant in the city of Herzliya.

Johnson, who starred in the "50 Shades of Grey" films, had dated musician Matthew Hitt of the band the Drowners in the mid-2010s. Martin is divorced from Academy Award-winner Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he shares daughter Apple, 14, and son Moses,12. Paltrow and Martin married in December 2003 but in March 2014 famously announced they were "consciously uncoupling." Their divorce was finalized July 14, 2016.

Martin was among the performers at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park on Sept. 29 when Paltrow married "Glee" and "American Horror Story" co-creator Brad Falchuk in the Hamptons.
