Oh my god, Danny DeVito! We love your work.

While the actor, director and producer may be better known for his appearances in “Batman Returns” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” he’s also been hard at work on another “art project” — on Twitter.

For years, DeVito has regularly tweeted photos of his plump right foot next to a variety of props, hashtagging them #Trollfoot.

There’s the #Trollfoot covered in strings of Easy Cheese. There are several #Trollfoot shots with cats. Then there’s #Trollfoot on a plane — with a curly-haired victim bound to his seat and gagged with duct tape.

Now, finally, we have an explanation.

“It’s like a little art project for me,” he told the New York Post at a film screening on Wednesday. “If I’m at something where I can just take my shoe off and shoot a picture of the foot with the good background, I love doing it.”

Whatever works you for, Mr. DeVito. Now, how about a sequel to “Matilda”?
