Acclaimed comedian Dave Chappelle has added three shows to his previously announced August residency at Radio City Music Hall.
MSG Entertainment announced Tuesday that Chappelle will also perform on Aug. 17, with guest Chance the Rapper; Aug. 20, with singer Lauryn Hill; and Aug. 23, with rapper Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def. MSG also announced guests for three previously announced shows: rapper Lil Wayne on Aug. 1; comedian Jeff Ross on Aug. 5; and comedian Arsenio Hall on Aug. 6, a date that was added without fanfare after the initial 10 shows were announced on June 12. Tickets for the new dates go on sale Friday morning at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.com
Joining Chappelle, 43, in various dates of his residency will be guests / co-headliners The Roots, Chris Rock, Erykah Badu, Trevor Noah, Childish Gambino and Ali Wong.
The comic, who had kept his career low-key for years since ending his Emmy-nominated Comedy Central sketch series, “Chappelle’s Show,” in 2006, ranks No. 6 on Forbes magazine’s current list of highest-earning comedians.
