Singer-actress Demi Lovato, who successfully completed addiction treatment following an emergency hospitalization for an overdose in July, celebrated her recent Grammy Award nomination with a romantic dinner date with fashion designer Henry Levy.
In photographs taken by the agency Mega and first posted by E! News, Lovato, 28, and Enfants Riches Déprimés founder Levy, who was born in 1991, hold each other, kiss and walk hand-in-hand outside what E! identified as the restaurant Nobu in Malibu, California. A more widely circulated photo by Backgrid shows the couple in a large black SUV with Levy at the wheel.
TMZ.com on Nov. 4had posted a cellphone image of Lovato at a restaurant table for two, holding hands with the bleached-blond Levy. The website also ran photos showing Lovato and Levy inside a vehicle leaving what the site said was the Beverly Hills restaurant Matsuhisa.
On Friday, the singer garnered her second Grammy Award nomination, with the song "Fall in Line" by Christina Aguilera featuring Lovato earning a nod for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
"Woke up filled with hope. Dreams come true y'all... thank you @xtina. I love you so much," Lovato tweeted, adding, "I grew up in Texas, singing to @xtina everyday, DESPERATELY trying to hit her high notes.. if you would've told me I’d have a Grammy nod with her I would've laughed in your face!! This is so surreal."
Aguilera, who turns 38 on Dec. 18, responded, "You deserve it all and getting to work with you was its own award for me @ddlovato. There’s no one I'd rather share this with!!"
