The West Los Angeles home of “Shameless” star Emmy Rossum was burglarized last week, with thieves allegedly stealing property valued at $150,000.

Officer Irma Mota of the Los Angeles Police Department’s media-relations office confirmed to People magazine that the crime, first reported by TMZ.com, occurred between last Wednesday and Friday, and that the LAPD commercial-crimes unit was investigating. Mota said an estimated $150,000 in jewelry and other items were stolen, TMZ and E! News independently called the jewelry antique.

The Manhattan-born Rossum, 30, who is engaged to “Mr. Robot” creator Sam Esmail, was not home at the time. “Thank you to the LAPD. I fully support the police efforts and dedication,” the singer-actress tweeted Tuesday.

TMZ said a housekeeper on Friday found the home’s power off and a glass pane smashed on a back door. Two safes were discovered open and empty.

Celebrities whose Los Angeles homes have been burglarized over the past year include rapper Nicki Minaj, singer Alanis Morissette, dog-trainer and reality-show star Cesar Millan and Los Angeles Dodgers right fielder Yasiel Puig. Reality-TV star Kendall Jenner’s home recently was robbed, but police found no sign of forced entry, making the incident theft.
