It was an all-out sweatfest on the red carpet at the 2015 Emmys, where Los Angeles temperatures hit around 100 degrees. Sunday night's heat didn't seem to hinder the glam factor (though hair -- a tad unruly -- seemed a bit off). Rockville Centre native Amy Schumer (who kindly wiped the perspiration off Ryan Seacrest's face while he interviewed her) snagged a blue strapless Zac Posen job, supposedly a look the designer held back at his New York Fashion Week show just last week. Likewise, Sarah Paulson wore burgundy Zac with a breastplate-like bodice and a graceful strap around the shoulders. Laverne Cox's teal Calvin Klein body clinger had built-in air-conditioning with two big cutouts.

Some of the freshest looks turned out in shades of pink. Edie Falco, who grew up in Northport, did pleated Prada with a bejeweled neckline; Emma Roberts went for ethereal Jenny Packham; Gina Rodriguez wore a floral embellished Lorena Sarbu, and a platinum blonde-haired Elizabeth Moss was eye-popping in fuchsia Oscar de la Renta. Jane Krakowski's stellar Bibhu Mohapatra boasted a big pink skirt.

Shades of sunny yellow prevailed as well. Heidi Klum went showgirl in canary Versace (where was the skirt?); Taylor Schilling shone in wispy, weather-appropriate Stella McCartney; and Kiernan Shipka's playful Emmys take, Dior Couture, included a lemony, ornately embroidered top over slim trousers.

Most original hardware award of the night? It was a tie between Taraji P. Henson in custom Alexander Wang with a center cutout and what looked like bicycle chain straps (sooooo Cookie of her), and Claire Danes, whose sparkly purple Prada was held up and together by beefy chains.

Speaking of sparklers, Kerry Washington shimmered in a mesh Marc Jacobs number, right off the designer's runway, and Sofia Vergara's coppery St. John slither clung to every curve.

Shocker of the night was Lady Gaga -- dialed back, toned down and all-out gorgeous -- in a black one-shoulder Brandon Maxwell gown. Emmy winner Allison Janney, in an intricately beaded La Bourjoisie frock that looked painted on to her toned body, sort of summed up the whole gig. "It's Bikram Emmys." Hot, hot, hot.
