Former “Desperate Housewives” star Nicollette Sheridan has filed for divorce after a publicly undisclosed marriage of six months.
Court records obtained by TMZ.com, and confirmation by the Los Angeles Public Information Office to Us Weekly, show that Sheridan, 52, wed Aaron Phypers six months ago and separated last month. No date was given for the filing, which TMZ said was done recently. Sheridan is asking the court to deny spousal support. The two have no children.
Us said Golden Globe nominee Sheridan and Phyphers were first seen together in December 2014. In January, they were photographed as a couple on the red carpet for a Hallmark Channel event at the Winter 2016 Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena, California. Sheridan most recently starred in the April Hallmark TV-movie “All Yours.” broadcast April 2.
Phypers — whose Twitter page, last updated in September 2011, said he was from Toronto — has two acting credits in the Internet Movie Database, one each in 2009 and 2011.
This was Sheridan’s second marriage. She wed “L.A. Law” star Harry Hamlin on Sept. 7, 1991, but they were divorced in 1993.
