Mel Gibson may have a lethal weapon in the form of his mouth, but now he's up against Bond, James Bond, in the form of Timothy Dalton - the successor to Roger Moore in the 007 role and former partner of Gibson's ex, Oksana Grigorieva, with whom Dalton has a 12-year-old son, Alexander.
In yet another profanity-filled outburst widely attributed to Gibson, 54, the actor indulges in a jealous tirade over Dalton, 64. On secretly recorded audio posted by RadarOnline.com Monday, Gibson sarcastically asks her, "Did you get my last message about me being a bad father, and Tim being a great dad now?" When Grigorieva, 40, says, "No," Gibson yells an extremely vulgar suggestion directed at Grigorieva and Dalton.
Dalton offered Radar no comment when the tabloid website spotted him over the weekend. In the audio, Gibson mentions his and Grigorieva's 8-month-old daughter, Lucia, and seethes, "I'm so -- sorry I had a child with you."
This exchange was recorded after a tree-planting ceremony for Lucia on Feb. 18, Radar said, in which Gibson became incensed at Grigorieva for allegedly "smiling too much" at a man. Soon after, Grigorieva and Lucia left Gibson's Malibu mansion.
The audios may have little bearing in a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department probe into whether Gibson physically attacked Oksana and endangered their child, law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times Monday. Police focus is on physical evidence, witnesses and text messages to determine whether charges should be filed, sources said.
