Roslyn-reared J.P. Rosenbaum, and Ashley Hebert, who became engaged on "The Bachelorette" season seven and were married in 2012, are expecting their first child.

Us Weekly said Wednesday that it had confirmed a report saying construction manager Rosenbaum, 36, and dentist Hebert, 29, were three months along and due in October.

Rosenbaum -- a 1995 graduate of Herricks High School in New Hyde Park -- told Newsday he could not immediately comment on the initial report, citing a confidentiality agreement with In Touch Weekly.

The couple, who had resided in New York City, now live in New Jersey. Rosenbaum had spent five years with The J Companies, helping to develop projects including Equity One's The Gallery at Westbury Plaza, and now works at the development and finance firm Greystone & Co. in Manhattan. Following "The Bachelorette," Hebert did her pediatric dental residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.

Originally from Madawaska, Maine, Hebert was second runner-up behind Chantal O'Brien and winner Emily Maynard on 2011's "The Bachelor" season 15, starring Brad Womack. She went on to star in "The Bachelorette" later that year.

Her and Rosenbaum's marriage in Pasadena, Calif., on Dec. 1, 2012, was broadcast by ABC that Dec. 16. The ceremony, officiated by "Bachelor / Bachelorette" host Chris Harrison, included as guests such franchise alumni as Maynard, Jillian Harris, Sean Lowe, Jason and Molly Mesnick and Ryan and Trista Sutter.
