Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence says she has no plans to ever sign onto Twitter.
"I cannot really keep up with emails, so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me," Lawrence, 24, said on the BBC's "Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Nick Grimshaw" Tuesday. "I don't really understand what it is; it's like this weird enigma that people talk about. It's fine, I respect that, but no, I'll never get Twitter."
Nor does she expect to join other popular social-media platforms, she said. "If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram or Twitter that says it's me, it most certainly is not me."
Lawrence told host Grimshaw she felt this way, "Because the Internet has scorned me so much, I feel like it's that girl in high school . . . [who says,] 'Oh, you want to talk about her? Yeah, I'll do that.' "
Lawrence was one of the actresses victimized in a hacking scheme Aug. 31 that leaked dozens of nude cellphone photos from Apple's iCloud to the Web.
