Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez, her actress friend Leah Remini and their three children were rear-ended in Lopez's car Saturday by an allegedly drunken driver. No one was injured.
"Sitting at a light, Riding high right before some drunk fool rear ended us in my new whip!!! Thank god everyone ok!!!" Lopez, 45, posted on Instagram with a photo of herself and Remini, 44. Lopez followed her comment a procession of hashtags that appeared to tell the story: #GRATEFUL #THANKYOUGOD #DontdrinkandDrive!!!! #cursedthatfoolout #theBronxcameout #dontmesswithmycoc[o]nuts #mamabear #leahstayedcalm #thatwasweird.
Shortly before this, she had posted an Instagram video of her 6-year-old son, Max, buckled in in the backseat, bobbing his head to music, and another of image of him, his twin sister Emme and Remini's daughter Sofia, who was born in 2004. "These three cuties make my day!! #Coconuts #Sofia #lunchwthekiddies #bigpimpin' #brooklynindahouse."
TMZ.com said law-enforcement sources told the site that Remini was driving Lopez's car along Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California, and were stopped at a traffic light when a driver in a small pickup truck hit them from behind and then drove away.
One of the women called 911 and described the driver and the vehicle, TMZ said, adding that sheriff's deputies found the driver nearby, determined he was driving under the influence and arrested him on that charge and for the hit-and-run.
Lopez released the album "A.K.A." in June. Former "The King of Queens" star Remini recently starred with her family in the TLC reality show "Leah Remini: It's All Relative."
