E! "Fashion Police" co-host Kelly Osbourne was hospitalized after suffering a seizure on the show's Los Angeles set Thursday afternoon.

"Kelly Osbourne fainted on the set of E!'s 'Fashion Police' today," her representative said in a statement. "She was taken to a local hospital for further testing and is awake, alert and in stable condition. She will be staying overnight for observation as a precautionary measure. There are no further details at this time."

"Entertainment Tonight" reported that Osbourne, 28 -- daughter of rock star Ozzy Osbourne and "The Talk" co-host Sharon Osbourne -- was feeling ill near the end of the hourlong taping. Co-host Melissa Rivers, filling in for Giuliana Rancic, recognized the symptoms of a seizure, the "ET" website said, and had Osbourne lie on the floor. During the roughly 30-second seizure, an EMT who happened to be in the audience came to her aid.

In a version of the event reported by, Osbourne had turned to Rivers, said, "I don't feel good," fell out of the chair and started shaking.

Osbourne was ushered to an ambulance. Sharon Osbourne quickly arrived at the hospital, looking concerned, "ET" said.

Comedian Joan Rivers, Melissa's mother, told TMZ afterward: "She is fine. We just saw her."

Osbourne was hospitalized in November 2011 after suffering a concussion and head wound in Miami while at a dance club with friends. Her mother told "The Talk" at the time she was showing someone how to ballroom dance and hit her head on the DJ's amplifier during a dip.
