Kim Kardashian baby: What will Kim and Kanye West name their daughter?

Now that Kim Kardashian has given birth to a baby girl, the world is eagerly waiting to learn what the 32-year-old reality star and her boyfriend, Kanye West, will name their daughter.

While the new parents have kept mum about the name of their baby, who made her debut in the world on Saturday several weeks before her due date, Kardashian gave some insight into what she and her 36-year-old beau might choose for a baby name during a March interview with the TV show "Extra."

"I think it would be really cute 'cause Kanye and I are both Ks, but half the names on our list aren't Ks," Kardashian said.

"Kanye, being the father, wants something that's unique," she added.

If the celebrity couple are looking for a K name, they'd be following a family tradition: Kardashian's mother is named Kris, and her sisters are Kourtney 34, Khloe, 28, Kendall, 17 and Kylie, 15. (Kendall and Kylie are Kim Kardashian's half sisters; their father is Olympian Bruce Jenner, a Mount Kisco native who was raised in Tarrytown and briefly played football for Sleepy Hollow High School.)

Kardashian's older sister, Kourtney, bucked the K trend -- her young children with boyfriend Scott Disick are named Mason and Penelope -- and Irish betting website Paddy Power is taking bets on whether or not Kardashian and West will follow suit.

Some on the site are betting that Kardashian will name her daughter after herself, with "Kim" receiving 8-1 odds, while the couple's "squeeze" name, "Kimye," received 25-1 odds. Other unusual names in the betting pool include "North" (7-1 odds) and "Kinga" (33-1 odds).

Once the couple have chosen their baby's name, perhaps they'll take a page out of their celebrity pals Beyoncé and Jay-Z's playbook. The couple, who picked up their marriage license in Scarsdale, famously filed a trademark for their daughter Blue Ivy's name soon after her birth in January 2012.

Beyoncé wished the couple well Monday, posting a black-and-white photo of Kardashian and West on her website with the word "Congratulations" superimposed over their picture.

"Congrats to Kim & Kanye," the singer wrote in her post. "Enjoy this beautiful moment together."

With a superstar of Beyoncé's stature sending her regards, it seems that no matter what Kardashian and West decide to name their daughter, one thing is for sure: Just like her parents, their baby girl is already a celebrity.
