Kim Novak wants the world to feel bad for making fun of her face following the Oscars in February. The star of the '50s classics "Picnic" and "Vertigo" says in an open letter that she had fat injections in her face and she is upset for being bullied by tweets and articles that joked about her appearance.
"I will no longer hold myself back from speaking out against bullies. We can't let people get away with affecting our lives," she said in her letter. "For days, I didn't leave the house, and it got to me like it gets kids and teenagers. I'm not going to deny that I had fat injections in my face. They seemed far less invasive than a face-lift. In my opinion, a person has a right to look as good as they can, and I feel better when I look better."
"Scandal" star Kerry Washington told The Hollywood Reporter that it was a challenge keeping her pregnancy hidden while playing Olivia Pope. "As an actor . . . so much of how I access character is through my body," Kerry said. "It's definitely been complicated to say the least. I've learned a lot about other ways to access Olivia and be her."
