Los Angeles prosecutors have formally charged "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kim Richards with public intoxication, resisting arrest and battery on a police officer in connection with her April 16 arrest at the Beverly Hills Hotel. said on Thursday that the District Attorney's office was not swayed by her subsequently checking into a Malibu rehab facility.

Former child star Richards, 50, who was born in Mineola, faces up to 2 1/2 years in prison, the website said. An arraignment hearing is scheduled for June 11, Us Weekly added.
