“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” matriarch Kris Jenner has given her stamp of approval to her daughter Khloé Kardashian’s new beau, NBA player Tristan Thompson.
“They’re really cute,” Jenner, 60, told reporters at The Brent Shapiro Foundation for Drug and Alcohol Awareness Summer Spectacular in Beverly Hills on Saturday, reported People magazine. “You know, she’s having a good time, he seems like a really nice guy.”
Responding to E! News asking what makes the relationship work, Jenner conceded, “I don’t know! I think just with any relationship, just in life, I think it’s about chemistry and about values. You know, about how two people get along, so . . . you know how that goes!”
Khloé Kardashian, 32 — the third of four children of Jenner and the late attorney Robert Kardashian — appeared to confirm her romance publicly Friday when she and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Thompson, 25, shared a Snapchat photo of themselves kissing in Miami, People said.
The two have been seen together for some time, both in Los Angeles and in the resort town of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. E! News early this month said Kardashian and Thompson were together at the West Hollywood nightclub Bootsy Bellows, a celebrity haunt co-owned by actor David Arquette, and again sometime later at a Beverly Hills mansion. The two and a Kardashian friend, actress Malika Haqq, partied at the Cabo location of the nightclub chain Mandala early this month. Us Weekly added that Haqq’s twin sister, actress Khadijah Haqq, was also along on the trip to Cabo.
Kardashian has long been estranged from former NBA pro Lamar Odom, from whom a divorce is pending.
