Michael Lohan was involved in an altercation with his fiancee Kate Major before he flew to Los Angeles to be in court Tuesday when his daughter Lindsay Lohan was formally sent to jail.

Major, 27, filed a report with the Southampton Town Police claiming Lohan, 50, shoved her over a chair and gave her injuries that resulted in a hospital visit, according to TMZ.com. But a Southampton police officer who spoke with Newsday late Wednesday afternoon said, "Domestic incident reports are confidential files so we can't give that information out."

Michael Lohan told Newsday that he and Major had exchanged words, but, "There was no fight."

"She was very upset about some of the people coming on the show," Lohan explained, referring to his upcoming reality show "Celebrity House New York." According to RadarOn line.com, Major objected to two of Tiger Woods' mistresses, Rachel Uchitel and Joslyn James, who reportedly have signed on.

Major told the website Wednesday "I'm not commenting on anything right now."

Meanwhile, Michael Lohan's ex-wife Dina Lohan and daughter Ali, Wednesday visited the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., where Lindsay Lohan is being held, according to People magazine. They stayed more than an hour, but it was not clear if the two were able to see her. Visiting hours are on weekends for family and friends, though the jail can make exceptions.
