Ballroom pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Olympic gold medalist ice dancer Meryl Davis, who together won season 18 of "Dancing with the Stars," are reuniting for a Long Island appearance.
Chmerkovskiy, 34, and Davis, 27, are among the more than dozen stars and guests performing Dec. 17-21 at The Space at Westbury, in the show "Sway." "Meryl and I are going to reproduce a couple of our routines and give people a little Maks and Meryl magic -- even if it's just for a day," Chmerkovskiy told People magazine Thursday. Davis and Chmerkovskiy will perform together on Dec. 17. Others performing include "DWTS" veterans Val Chmerkovskiy, Tony Dovolani, Artem Chigvintsev and Peta Murgatroyd. Singer and Disney Channel star Zendaya performs on Dec. 21.
Chmerkovskiy appeared in 14 seasons of "Dancing" before retiring from the show. He is a co-founder of the Dance with Me studios, with a branch in Glen Head.
