'Jackson: Immortal' adds 2nd LI show

Mark your calendars, Michael Jackson fans! Due to high demand, an additional performance of "Michael Jackson: The Immortal" is being added on April 8, 2012, at the Nassau Coliseum, Newsday's Kevin Amorim reports. The Cirque du Soleil show -- a fusion of visuals, dance and music -- is also taking place there April 7, 2012. Tickets, $50-$250, are on sale now at Ticketmaster. Cirque du Soleil also announced that Greg Phillinganes, one of Jackson's creative collaborators, has joined the "Immortal" team as music director.

For Lady Gaga fans, a chance to see and be seen

Come dressed and ready to sing as Lady Gaga to Canz a Citi Roadhouse, 1610 Old Country Rd., Westbury, tomorrow night and you might win tickets to the pop star's Saturday show at Nassau Coliseum. The look-alike and sing-alike contest is scheduled to start at 8. Runners-up will receive food and drink specials.

She's having 'X Factor' role

Very pregnant former Greenlawn songbird Mariah Carey will be joining Simon Cowell's upcoming "The X Factor," but not as a judge, US Weekly reports. "I think Mariah will have a role on the live shows," Cowell told Spokane, Wash., disc jockey Brown Friday on her 92.9ZZU radio show Monday. "I met her recently and she was on great form." Because of her pregnancy -- she's eight months along -- Cowell confirmed that Carey was taken out of the running as a judge. "Her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with," Cowell said.
