Harrison Ford and Scarlett Johansson are the actor and actress with the cumulative highest-grossing films domestically, according to the most recent analysis by Box Office Mojo.
Ford, 73, whose films include the “Star Wars” and “Raiders of the Lost Ark” franchises, has appeared in movies with a total domestic (U.S. and Canada) gross of $4.87 billion and an estimated 1.107 million tickets sold.
Johansson, 31, the highest-ranked female, is No. 10 overall on the dollar list, with movies having a domestic gross of $3.332 billion. These include such Marvel Studios blockbusters as “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Captain America: Civil War.”
The dollar figures are not adjusted for inflation, favoring more recent films, and do not reflect global box office. While a disclaimer says that neither list includes cameo appearances or voiceover work, it nonetheless givesCameron Diaz as the second-highest ranking female and counts “Shrek 2” as her highest-grossing film.
