Sean "Diddy" Combs tops this year's Forbes list of hip-hop's five wealthiest artists. The magazine gave his estimated net worth as $580 million, mostly derived from nonmusical ventures such as his deal with Diageo to promote the company's Ciroc vodka. Shawn "Jay Z" Carter was runner-up, with $475 million, much of it from his 2007 sale of Rocawear and his 2008 contract with Live Nation, plus partnerships with Duracell, Budweiser and others. Andre "Dr. Dre" Young was third, with $350 million, mostly from his Beats by Dr. Dre headphones. Bryan "Birdman" Williams came in fourth with $150 million and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson was fifth with $125 million.
