Selena Gomez, who announced in late August that she was taking a break from her career to focus on her health, particularly anxiety and depression issues as a result of lupus, is reportedly seeking professional treatment, according to multiple sources.

The pop star, 24, cut short her “Revival” world tour earlier this year to deal with side effects of the autoimmune disease. On Wednesday, Us Weekly reported that Gomez has been spending time at a “private and quiet” Tennessee rehab facility outside of Nashville. People magazine and several other news outlets later reported the news.

The singer was spotted posing with fans and employees at Texas Roadhouse in Tennessee on Saturday when she arrived to have dinner there with her family.

Gomez announced to People on Aug. 30 that she was planning to go on hiatus. “As many of you know,” she said, “around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways. I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

In 2014, Gomez had done a two-week stint at the Meadows rehab facility in Arizona, and the following year revealed that she was suffering from lupus.

“I was diagnosed with lupus, and I’ve been through chemotherapy,” she told Billboard. “That’s what my break was really about. . . . I locked myself away until I was confident and comfortable again.”
