After a day off from “The Talk,” co-host Sharon Osbourne returned Tuesday and for the first time spoke publicly about weekend reports of marital discord so severe she asked her husband, British heavy-metal legend Ozzy Osbourne, to leave their home.

Joking at first with her fellow co-hosts, Osbourne sipped from a tall glass of lemonade — an allusion to Beyoncé’s new album “Lemonade,” which thematically addresses infidelity. When co-host Julie Chen asked whether it were true that Osbourne had asked her husband of nearly 34 years to leave, Sharon Osbourne confirmed, to audience applause, “No, it’s true.” Her representative likewise had given confirmation on Sunday.

“It’s right for me,” the 63-year-old music manager went on, “because I honestly, at this point, today, have no idea what I’m going to be doing with the rest of my life. I don’t know where I’m going, who I’m going with, and I just need time to think and really think about myself, about what do I really want for the rest of my life. ’Cause this is like getting to the last chapter of this book.”

She and Ozzy Osbourne, 67, have three children: TV personalities Jack, 30, and Kelly, 31, and aspiring singer Aimee, 32. After separating and reconciling in 2013, Sharon Osbourne admitted she is unsure about her marriage’s future. “I honestly don’t know,” she said in response to a question as to whether she plans on staying married. “At this point I cannot answer that because I don’t know what I want.”

She assured well-wishers that “when I know what I’m gonna do with the rest of my life . . . you’ll be the first to know,” adding, “I’ve got to follow my heart and I don’t even know what my heart’s telling me right now. I’m just, like, trying to take it all in. Just take it in [and] process it.”
