Sherri Shepherd is not sitting at home wallowing about losing her co-hosting gig on "The View" last week.
Instead, the 47-year-old actress and comedian is taking the time to put her family first -- especially her son, Jeffrey Tarpley, 9. Hollywood Life has learned that Shepherd is putting all of her energy into her son and is not focusing on a new job at this time.
On the 'Boardwalk'
HBO released the first teaser for the last season of "Boardwalk Empire," which begins in September. The teaser features an ominous cover of Three Dog Night's "One" in the background. The song's message, and the tagline for the fifth and final season, is clear: all empires fall.
Fans of the show cannot help but wonder if the final season will end in a bloodbath. In previous seasons, the show killed off many characters, including fan favorites, and if the new trailer is any indication, shots are fired. Little is known about the upcoming episodes except that they will take place in the midst of the Great Depression in 1931, which is seven years from where Season 4 left off.
