Michael Lohan, father of actress Lindsay Lohan and a patient in the upcoming season of "Celebrity Rehab," was arrested Monday in West Hollywood, Calif., and charged with three domestic-violence felonies.
"Mr. Lohan was arrested after we received a call around 9 p.m. regarding a domestic dispute," Lt. John Ratto, a spokesman for the West Hollywood station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Dept., told People magazine. "He was detained after he was spotted walking on the street near our station. He showed no signs of intoxication that I'm aware of and has been cooperative."
After being booked, Lohan, 50, was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center after complaining of a medical condition not related to the incident, according to the police report. His bail was set at $200,000.
The victim suffered minor injuries, according to the report, and declined treatment from paramedics. While the report keeps the victim's name confidential, TMZ.com and RadarOnline.com each identified her as Lohan's former fiancee, Kate Major.
Major and another former girlfriend, Erin Muller, have each accused Lohan of violence in the past, yet both dropped charges.
