The adult film star whose alleged affair with Donald Trump has made headlines is scheduled to appear next week at a Melville strip club.
Stephanie Clifford, known as Stormy Daniels, tweeted Wednesday that she plans to appear at Gossip on Route 110 on Feb. 22. She will also appear at clubs in Los Angeles and Tampa this month and made previous stops in South Carolina after launching her publicity tour in January.
Trump has denied the affair took place.
The Melville club confirmed her upcoming appearance on its Twitter account, posting a Photoshopped image of Clifford wearing a hat that reads “Make Thursday Great Again.”
Clifford told gossip publications in 2011 that she had had an affair with Trump. The story resurfaced in January when The Wall Street Journal reported she had been paid for her silence during Trump’s 2016 campaign.
Clifford has since declined to confirm or deny the affair in her appearances. Trump’s lawyers released a statement with Clifford’s signature that denied the affair, but Clifford has not commented on it directly.
Michael D. Cohen, a personal lawyer for Trump, told The New York Times on Tuesday that he had paid Clifford $130,000 out of his own pocket, though he declined to say what the money was for and whether Trump was aware of the payment.
Clifford believes that Cohen’s admission invalidates a nondisclosure agreement and she is now free to discuss her story, her manager said Wednesday.
