JoBros softball team to play vs. Jet Flyers

The Road Dogs, the traveling softball team made up of the Jonas Brothers and their road crew, will take to Suffolk County Sports Park on Aug. 21 to compete against the Marquis Jet Flyers. The 12:30 p.m. game at the Central Islip home of the Long Island Ducks is free, but you need to pick up tickets (available beginning at 10 a.m. Friday). The JoBros play Nikon at Jones Beach Theater later that night.

Now we all know: Morissette's expecting Alanis Morissette is going to be a mom, Us reports. The Canadian singer, 36, wed rapper Souleye, 30 (real name: Mario Treadway), in May at their Los Angeles home. She announced the news somewhat unconventionally: In Us' current issue's "25 Things You Don't Know About Me" section, Morissette lists "I am pregnant!" as No. 25.

McCain: 'Snooki' is not suited for jail

President Barack Obama may not be familiar with "Jersey Shore" star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, but his 2008 rival is. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said yesterday on a Phoenix radio station KMLE Polizzi may not have been suited for jail. "I kind of think she might be too good looking to go to jail," McCain said echoing what she said about herself. Polizzi was accused of disorderly conduct last month in Seaside Heights, N.J.

City to host Fashion Night Out in fall

City Hall was a little more fashionable than usual yesterday, as some of New York's top designers joined Mayor Michael Bloomberg to announce plans for Fashion's Night Out on Sept. 10, Newsday's Barbara Schuler reports. About 1,000 stores are participating. The schedule will be posted at on Aug. 16.
