LaBelle sued after apartment lobby fight

A lawsuit says Patti LaBelle hurled curses -- and half a bottle of water -- at a woman and her 18-month-old daughter after a dust-up over parenting in a New York City apartment building lobby, The Associated Press reports. Roseanna Monk and her husband, Kevin, sued the R&B diva yesterday. The couple's lawyer, Samuel L. Davis, says the Grammy Award-winning singer chastised Roseanna Monk for letting the toddler take some steps away from her in the Manhattan lobby last November.


'Truly moved' Timberlake is all praise for Marines

Singer-actor Justin Timberlake, who accepted Cpl. Kelsey De Santis' invitation to attend her unit's Marine Corps Ball in Richmond, Va., Saturday, wrote a 1,300-word ode on his website Sunday. He wrote he was "truly moved" to be among "people who volunteer their lives to make sure protected." He also wrote about martial arts instructor De Santis. "I have to tell you, it's not every day that I meet a 23-year-old girl and she's more worried about if I'm having fun . . . Thank you, Corporal Kelsey De Santis. Thank you for inviting me. And, thank you for being my hero."


JWOWW: 'Treated like a criminal'

Jersey Shore" star Jenni "JWOWW" Farley says on Twitter that she was "treated like a criminal" when airport security officers singled her out for a pat-down in North Dakota, The Associated Press reports. Farley said in multiple tweets that her selection seemed "odd and deliberate." She says she noticed a Transportation Security Administration officer pointing at her while she was getting coffee at Fargo's Hector International Airport. Farley says she travels twice a week and has never experienced such a thing before. A message left with a TSA spokeswoman was not immediately returned.
