TLC cancels 'LA Ink'

"LA Ink," the TLC reality series starring Kat Von D, has been canceled after four seasons.

"TLC has decided that the current season of 'LA Ink' will be its last," the channel said in a statement Thursday. "The network is proud of what the series has accomplished in its four seasons, following Kat Von D's journey as an artist from Miami to Los Angeles."

The series, a spinoff of "Miami Ink," airs its final episode Sept. 15.

Von D, though, clearly was not happy with how the ending of her show was being reported. She tweeted: "I love how me deciding to not continue doing 'LA Ink' turns into being 'cancelled,' Thanks @TLC. Regardless of everything I remain grateful."
