Reality-TV star and Poosh lifestyle-brand founder Kourtney Kardashian and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker are engaged.
"[F]orever @travisbarker," wrote the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star, 42, on Instagram Sunday, captioning two photos of herself and Barker, 45, on an ocean beach, standing inside a giant red-rose floral ring, itself surrounded by large candles in glass cylinders.
Barker in a comment echoed, "Forever" in all capital letters, followed by an infinity emoji. As well, Kardashians's younger sisters, fellow reality-TV stars Kim and Khloé, congratulated their sibling: Kim Kardashian, who turns 41 on Thursday, posted three red hearts and, in a second comment, three engagement rings. Khloé Kardashian, 37, posted five red hearts. Their mother, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star Kris Jenner, commented three smiley faces with red hearts for eyes.
Separately on her own Instagram account, Jenner wrote, "Congratulations to the most beautiful, adorable, affectionate, fabulous, made for each other couple in the world! Love you guys!!!!!!" There Barker commented with a red rose and a red heart emoji.
TMZ.com, the first to report the engagement, posted two photos either by eyewitnesses or paparazzi, showing the couple inside the floral ring as a private photographer shot them holding hands and then embracing. The website said the proposal took place Sunday at a beachside hotel in Montecito, an unincorporated town in California's Santa Barbara County.
Barker and Kourtney Kardashian have known each other for years, sparking speculation of a romance since they were photographed together leaving the Crossroads Kitchen vegan restaurant in Los Angeles in September 2018. On Feb. 16 this year, Kardashian confirmed the most recent round of rumors, posting an Instagram close-up of her hand intertwined with his distinctively tattooed one.
Kardashian has three children with her former partner, Eastport-born Scott Disick: sons Mason, 11, and Reign, 6, and daughter Penelope, 9. Barker has daughter Alabama, 15, and son Landon, 18, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, Miss USA 1995 and Playboy magazine's December 2001 Playmate. In 2005, the Barker family starred in the single-season MTV reality show "Meet the Barkers."
