Christina Aguilera knows she is beautiful “no matter what they say.”

The 31-year-old singer defended her curvy figure in an interview with People, telling the magazine: “I love my body.”

As a coach on NBC’s singing competition “The Voice,” Aguilera hopes to pass this message on to the singers she coaches.

"Being in a position to coach these young women, I am happy to be able to share that with them and share my highs and lows," she told People. "Being on the show, it's a very good outlet for me."

Aguilera also added that she feels women are under “massive scrutiny,” and she is happy to have the approval of her boyfriend, Matt Rutler.

"I have a boyfriend that loves my body," she said.

Aguilera will be showing of her looks and her singing skills on the upcoming second season of “The Voice,” which premieres on Feb. 5 after the Super Bowl.
