Ed Sheeran already has many tattoos on his body, but this latest one could be called "the mane event." Yesterday, the singer shared a selfie with his fans on Instagram showing off the giant, colorful lion he had tattooed on his chest.
The lion is meant to commemorate Sheeran's three sold-out shows at Wembley Stadium in July. However, the big cat wasn't Sheeran's first choice to mark his career milestone. "Originally I was going to get the floor plan tattooed on my side, but that seemed a bit ridiculous," he told the BBC. Instead he chose the lion -- the logo of the England national football team team, whose home stadium is Wembley.
Sheeran also tweeted his thanks to tattoo artist Kevin Paul. "Lion is courtesy of @kp_est78, who puts up with me complaining about the pain," Sheeran tweeted.
Spears' 'Virgin' role
Britney Spears is about to hit the small screen. The CW announced Tuesday that the pop diva will guest star on "Jane the Virgin" next season. According to showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman, Spears will play the "nemesis" of Rogelio de la Vega, Jane's father who is a telenovela star.
Spears is no stranger to TV: She was a Mouseketeer in the '90s and appeared on "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "How I Met Your Mother" and "Will & Grace."
