Tyrese New Book and Movie

What can I say about Tyrese Gibson (@Tyrese)? He is a singer, actor and, now, bestselling author. Gibson's new book, “How to Get Out of Your Own Way,” has been added to the New York Times Best Seller list. Gibson's book is designed to inspire the readers to achieve their dreams. Gibson also has a new movie out, "Fast Five," the fifth installment of the "Fast and the Furious" series. In theaters April 29, it is projected to rev up big box-office numbers over the weekend. This is Gibson's year, and there is no stopping him.

Olivia Munn Bikini Commercial
Looks like the newest celebrity to endorse Carl's Jr. is the multi-talented Olivia Munn (@Olivia Munn). Carl's Jr. seems to believe in the slogan “sex sells.” The beautiful actress is seen riding a Jet Ski in a bikini, eating a Carl's burger. The commercial is not as provocative as the Paris Hilton commercial, but it gets the point across. Munn's bikini body will definitely bring some hungry customers to Carl's Jr.

Rihanna Honored at Gala
When this pop singer is not causing up a stir with her seductive performances, she is raising awareness of Leukemia. On April 28, Rihanna (@Rihanna) was honored at the  fifth annual DKMS Linked Against Leukemia gala, in New York City. Rihanna, one of the many celebrities who supports DKMS, has worked to help find donors for leukemia patients. According to Examiner, Rihanna said, “Anyone can be affected by leukemia. It is the number one disease children in the U.S. die of and we can change that. I encourage people to become bone marrow donor with DKMS. If we have more donors, we can save more lives.” Good job, and nice work, RiRi.

Rob Lowe's Memoir
Whether a celebrity's career is going up or down, the best move he or she can make is to write a book. That's what "West Wing" actor Rob Lowe (@Rob Lowe) did when he wrote a memoir called “Stories I Only Tell my Friends.” Lowe gives the reader behind-the-scenes stories about his life and his Hollywood activities. Lowe was seen April 28 on "Oprah," where he discussed some of the book's topics: the Brat Pack, Charlie Sheen, alcohol addiction and the sex tape scandal. Lowe's book is a must-read for fans of celebrity gossip.

Eva Longoria at White House
The "Desperate Housewives" star may play a selfish, one-track-minded character on television, but she is the opposite in real life. On April 28, Eva Longoria (@Eva Longoria) attended the White House celebrity roundtable discussion about immigration reform. Longoria was among the slew of Latin stars who debated ways that president Obama can fix the broken immigration system. One of the topics of discussion was the adoption of the DREAM Act. According to the Washington Post, Longoria said this about Obama's views on the act, “He supported it 100 percent.”  Longoria posted pictures of the private event to her Twitter page so the public can witness Latin power.
