Well if this isn’t baby mama drama at its finest, then I don’t know what is.
Apparently Halle Berry is extremely, um, salty about her supermodel ex-boyfriend (and baby daddy) Gabriel Aubry dating reality TV star Kim Kardashian and the possibility of Kardashian being around her daughter Nahla.
According to the cover story in the Dec. 13 issue of Star magazine, a friend who is close to both Halle and Gabriel says, “Halle is really struggling with Kim and Gabriel’s relationship.” The source reveals that Halle is insulted at the fact that her ex-boo would date a reality TV star whose initial claim to fame is a sex tape.
Due to Kim’s past and her apparent obsession with the spotlight, Berry does not want her daughter to be around her. “Halle would not be happy to see Kim with Nahla. She wants her daughter out of the spotlight, not with a reality star that has been in a porno,” the source tells Star.
Ok, time to break this down.
First, I agree with Berry being weary of her daughter being in the company of Kim Kardashian. She doesn’t have the most positive public image. No matter if Kardashian leaked her sex-tape video or not a few years back, it is still responsible for her sudden “celebrity” status. The article also states that Aubry plans on taking baby Nahla to the Kardashian household on Christmas, which I feel is an extremely rash judgment on his part as the two just recently started dating. I just hope Nahla doesn’t appear on an episode of one of the many Kardashian reality shows.
Second, I think Halle needs to relax on being upset that her ex is with Kim. It shouldn’t matter who he is with because she has also moved on with actor Oliver Martinez, so I don’t understand why she would be so salty. If Halle feels that Kardashian is a downgrade for Aubry after dating her, then that is his problem.
Anytime a child is involved things can get messy. The ideal situation would be for the mother of the child and the new boo to get along, but sometimes that just isn’t the case. Let’s see how the Berry-Kardashian saga plays out.
