'X' and the city

Gillian Anderson popped up at The Cutting Room in New York City Tuesday night to support her good friend and "X Files" co-star David Duchovny, who was there for a concert. She later joined him on stage for an impromptu performance that ended with the duo sharing a kiss.

Duchovny's show was to promote his debut album, "Hell or High Water," which came out on Tuesday.
