Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne will take on the lead role of Newt Scamander in J.K. Rowling's highly anticipated Harry Potter prequel, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them," Warner Bros. announced on Monday.
Rumors began swirling in April that Redmayne was being considered for the lead role in the trilogy, which is slated for worldwide release in 3-D and IMAX in November 2016, according to Deadline.com.
David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter films, will helm "Fantastic Beasts." None of the other lead roles have been cast yet.
Grande's new 'Moon'
Ariana Grande has not announced an official release date for her next album, but on Friday she let it slip on Twitter that it will be called "Moonlight."
The pop star had taken to Twitter to answer questions from fans. After she shared some new lyrics from the album, Grande tweeted: "that's not from moonlight. . . . it's from the intro oops."
A fan then asked Grande if "Moonlight" is the title of the record or just a song. The singer then replied: "Both."
Shortly after, Grande even changed her Twitter bio to one word: "Moonlight."
Whenever the album arrives, "Moonlight" will be the follow-up to last year's smash "My Everything."
