Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence took a break from shooting "X-Men: Apocalypse" over the weekend to pay a visit to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Montreal.
"A very special visitor stopped by our Canada hospital today," posted someone on the Shriners Hospital's Facebook page. "Jennifer Lawrence is in Montreal filming a new movie and she made time to visit some of our #ShrinersCanada kids and staff. Everyone had a great time!"
Lawrence took time to pose for pictures and talk with kids and staff members, and she even signed one boy's cast.
The actress, who turns 25 on Saturday, is reprising her role as Mystique in "X-Men: Apocalypse," which co-stars Michael Fassbender. It hits theaters in May.
Murray's ready to bust
Who ya gonna call for the "Ghostbusters" reboot? Bill Murray, one of the stars of the 1984 original. Variety has confirmed that Murray will join Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth in the new "Ghostbusters" film. No details on his character have been revealed.
In July, Dan Aykroyd, who also appeared in the original "Ghostbusters," tweeted (then deleted) about being on the set filming his scene with Wiig. The reboot is filming in Boston, and set to hit theaters in July.
