Hollywood Life: John Stamos calls out Olsen twins on 'Fuller House' reboot

John Stamos wants to make it clear that he reached out to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen about joining the "Full House" spinoff "Fuller House."

In a terse, profane tweet on Sunday, Stamos, who will both star in and produce the reboot, said that the Olsen twins' claims that they knew nothing about the series are not true.

On Wednesday, the Olsens told Women's Wear Daily that they just found out about the spinoff that day and that they planned to call "Full House" co-star Bob Saget "and get his perspective."

'Goodfellas' reunite

"Goodfellas" stars Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, Lorraine Bracco and Paul Sorvino and screenwriter Nicholas Pileggi reunited Saturday at the Tribeca Film Festival to celebrate the movie's silver anniversary. But missing in action was director Martin Scorsese, who was filming in Taiwan, and Oscar winner Joe Pesci.

Scorsese sent his regards via a taped message, while Pesci sent his regrets in an amusing, profanity-laced email written in the manner of his "Goodfellas" character, hotheaded mobster Tommy DeVito.

After reading Pesci's email, DeNiro said: "I'll translate: 'Dear Bob, sorry I can't be there. Love to all. Best, Joe.' "

The quintet then shared stories about making the movie in an interview with Jon Stewart.
