Hollywood Life: Justin Bieber on cleaning up his act

During his interview on "Elvis Duran and the Z100 Morning Show," to be aired Friday, Justin Bieber, 21, talked about his bad boy past and why it's taken him so long to try and clean up his act.

Surrounding himself with a good support system is what ultimately has helped him, Bieber said. "You have to make the conscious effort, because for me, so many times it was good people coming in my life and tugging at me, but I wasn't ready," he said. "They're like, 'Justin, come on.' But I wasn't ready to take that leap and be like, 'OK, this is what I want to change, this is who I am, and this is not who I am.' It takes moments of clarity to be like, 'Oh, that's why I'm not like this. That's why I shouldn't do this.' "

Swift's special guests

Taylor Swift was full of surprises at her Los Angeles concert Wednesday night. The 25-year-old star brought out three guests to perform with her, including Justin Timberlake. The two performed his hit "Mirrors," which brought audience members to their feet.

Swift was also joined by her friend Selena Gomez for a duet of "Good for You," and then by actress Lisa Kudrow for a rendition of "Smelly Cat," the song the actress made famous on "Friends."
