Katie Holmes made her name on "Dawson's Creek," then became even more famous after marrying and divorcing Tom Cruise. Through everything, Holmes, 36, has kept a positive attitude on life.
"I don't really regret anything that I've done," the actress told Ocean Drive magazine. "I've learned from everything, and everything sort of leads you to the next place. I just keep going."
She has been raising her daughter, Suri, 9, while continuing her career. "I have a very normal life, and I happen to work in an industry that is abnormal," she said.
Holmes will make her directional debut with "All We Had," about a mother making a better life for her daughter, and she'll reprise her role as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in the miniseries "The Kennedys -- After Camelot."
Model Chrissy Teigen turned 30 Monday, but the celebration began over the weekend. Her husband, singer John Legend, threw her a birthday bash Saturday night at the Comedy Cellar in Manhattan that featured fancy food and comedy from Dave Chappelle.
Legend, 36, led the crowd in a rendition of "Happy Birthday" while Teigen's cake was being lit, Entertainment Weekly reports.
After the party, Teigen tweeted, "I can't imagine a single thing more I wanted out of my twenties. Greatest friends and family ever, ever, ever."
