Hollywood Life: Lady Gaga takes a tumble in West Hollywood

Lady Gaga could give lessons on maintaining a great pokerface.

The singer seemed unfazed after taking a major spill Wednesday night as she left the West Hollywood restaurant Pump, owned by her friend, reality star Lisa Vanderpump. Gaga, who was wearing a long black velour robe and slip-on heels hit the asphalt and grabbed on to the side of her white car after a misstep at the curb.

Once Gaga was back on her feet, she turned to flash a million-dollar smile at the paparazzi who were clamoring to get shots of her. Of course, the 29-year-old Grammy winner has plenty to smile about these days: She has a big role on the upcoming series "American Horror Story: Hotel" and earlier this year she got engaged to actor Taylor Kinney.

Hello, Dolly's 'mama'

Jennifer Nettles has landed her first acting gig. The Sugarland singer, 40, has been chosen to play Dolly Parton's mother in a TV biopic about the legendary country singer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Coat of Many Colors" will focus on Parton's childhood in Tennessee in the 1950s, where she was one of 12 children. In addition to Nettles, Ricky Schroeder will co-star as Parton's dad and Gerald McRaney as her grandfather. And Alyvia Lind, 8, was told she had landed the role of a 9-year-old Dolly by Parton.
