A Macklemore lullaby

Macklemore and his wife, Tricia Davis welcomed their daughter, Sloane Ava Simone Haggerty, to the world May 29, but yesterday the rapper released "Growing Up (Sloane's Song)" as the official public announcement of her birth.

The song, which Macklemore made with his longtime collaborator, Ryan Lewis, also features Ed Sheeran. "Half of it [the song] is advice about growing up. The other half is trying to figure out how to grow up myself," Macklemore, 32, wrote on his website.

Davis posted a photo on her Instagram page of Macklemore cradling baby Sloane. The couple got married on June 27 after a two-year engagement.
