Nicole Kidman, who's been in Jordan and Morocco shooting "Queen of the Desert," about explorer Gertrude Bell, took to Twitter Wednesday to share photos from the set of the biopic, which also stars Robert Pattinson and James Franco.
In one photo, Pattinson is dressed in Arabian robes and holding two lion cubs. In another photo, Kidman is shown in a fancy gown and a dapper Franco is donned in a tuxedo.
The movie, which still doesn't have a release date, is about Lawrence of Arabia's female contemporary, who helped define the borders between Iraq and Jordan that exist today.
Costas on Jenner award
During a radio interview on Monday, sportscaster Bob Costas said he didn't think Caitlyn Jenner, previously known as Bruce Jenner, was the most worthy person ESPN could have chosen to receive this year's Arthur Ashe Courage Award.
"I wish Caitlyn all the happiness in the world and all the peace of mind in the world," Costas said on "The Dan Patrick Show." "However, it strikes me that awarding the Arthur Ashe Award to Caitlyn Jenner is just a crass exploitation play."
The award is presented to individuals whose contributions "transcend sports."
