Hollywood Life: Taylor Swift on her romance troubles

It's taken Taylor Swift two years to re-enter the dating game after her split from One Direction's Harry Styles. But she didn't have great things to say about the prospect of romance in the June issue of Glamour UK.

"There is no easy way for me to engage with romance," Swift, 25, said in the interview. "I'm really busy, so I can't. And it's a good thing that I feel really independent and I feel that my friends are all I need. It's kind of a sad way I got here, though . . . being shamed into it," she said. "What else is it when you have two boyfriends in one year and everyone's calling you boy crazy and making jokes about you at award shows? That's public humiliation. And I don't think it's fair."

Swift, who is rumored to be dating 31-year-old DJ Calvin Harris, added that the only way she stays grounded amid the mania of fame is by admitting to herself that her life is not normal. "My [mom] is really good at putting things back into perspective for me," Swift said. "And it's really nice when she says, 'I know there's no way I could possibly understand what you're going through, but here's what I think.' "

Dempsey's last words

Patrick Dempsey, whose character was killed off in Thursday's episode of "Grey's Anatomy," spoke to Entertainment Weekly about working with co-star Ellen Pompeo. "It was magic. It's beautiful," he said, while trying to hold back tears. "We're like a married couple. It's 10 years, and it was magic from the beginning. Chemistry right away."
