The teaser trailer for the Coen Brothers' "Inside Llewyn Davis" is now available, and it looks terrific.
It's the story of a folk singer trying to launch a career in New York City in the 1960s, with Oscar Davis in the lead role and Carey Mulligan as his wife. You'll also see Justin Timberlake and John Goodman in the trailer.
Loosely based on the posthumously published memoir "The Mayor of MacDougal Street" by cult folk hero Dave Van Ronk, the film is bound to resonate with boomers and rock fans. It also could be a breakout role for Isaac, who for years has been shining brightly in underwhelming movies like "Robin Hood," "For Greater Glory" and "Sucker Punch."
"Inside Llewyn Davis" is due for release Dec. 6, a date that seems to have "for your consideration" written all over it.
