Kate Gosselin, who sprang to fame publicly raising her eight children on television, says that she's ready to start dating again.
Gosselin, who starred in TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8" and "Kate Plus 8," told Matt Lauer on the "Today" show that she was ready to find a suitor comparable to "Superman" after her stormy and much-publicized divorce from Jon Gosselin.
"I feel like I have my life together pretty much, but let's be honest; it's going to take a strong person to wrangle this mess," 36-year-old Gosselin said. "If he can pass the test, he's got to be Superman."
She also told Lauer how tending to her eight children has somewhat thwarted her dating life. Two of the sextuplets, Colin and Alexis, have been home-schooled by her since they were pulled out of kindergarten last December. Both also receive therapy, which Kate believed was needed after the Gosselin's divorce.
The TLC reality series aired in 2005 and continues to run as "Kate Plus 8." Gosselin and ex-husband, Jon, divorced in 2009 after almost 10 years of marriage.
