Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn’s upcoming comedy film, whose working title has been reported as “Mother/Daughter,” now officially has a name and a release date.

“My movie with Goldie Hawn is called ‘Snatched,’ ” Rockville Centre-reared Schumer, 35, announced on Instagram, linking to a newly created Instagram page for the movie. “Yeah!!!! See it in theaters Mother’s Day!” she added. The release date is May 12, the Friday before the holiday.

Accompanying the message was a photo of Emmy Award-winning comedian Schumer and Academy Award-winner Hawn in chaise lounges on an apparent resort pool deck. The same image appears on the movie’s page, where it’s identified as “the first look” at the 20th Century Fox film, in which Schumer plays a well-intentioned daughter who hijacks her mother for a vacation.

Another apparent publicity still on the movie’s page shows Schumer at a telephone kiosk on a dingy street, a look of surprise on her face.

“Snatched” shot in Hawaii from June to August. While in production, Schumer got bronchitis and was hospitalized, telling Stephen Colbert on “The Late Show” afterward, “We had to stop shooting for a week.” Directed by Jonathan Levine (2013’s “Warm Bodies,” last year’s Christmas comedy “The Night Before”), the film also stars Christopher Meloni, Wanda Sykes, Ike Barinholtz and Oscar Jaenada.

Hawn, 71, has not appeared in a film since 2002’s “The Banger Sisters,” following such films as “Cactus Flower” (1969), for which she won a supporting actress Oscar, and “Private Benjamin” (1980), for which she earned a best actress nomination. Schumer scored a hit with her 2015 comedy “Trainwreck.”
